• The next IWRF
  International Conference on Relaxor Ferroelectrics will be held in May 2026 in Himeji, Japan.

  Preparations are now underway. It's the first time in 10 years that the IWRF will be held in Japan—the last one was in Matsue!
  
• International conference was chaired in 2024.
  The 16th Japan-China Conference on Ferroelectric Materials and Applications
  at Matsue Terrsa from July 19 to 22, 2024
  
  We welcomed approximately 106 participants from China, and the event was a great success. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

Experiments at SPring-8
We frequently conduct X-ray diffraction experiments.
   This is a collaborative research project with the Owada Group at QST and the Kuroiwa Laboratory at Hiroshima Univ.

Science School
Every year, we hold a science workshop.
   Morning: Teaching material training session for university students.    Afternoon: Science class with children.

Many students from the Faculty of Education also participated and did an excellent job.
